Guided Paintings
Part original artwork, part event experience, and entirely one of a kind.
I turn a photo, place or idea that’s meaningful to you into an original, colourful painting designed especially for your event. The artwork is prepared as a numbered canvas, ready for your guests to add their own brushstrokes throughout the celebration.
Choose the package that works best for your event. From the prepared canvas on its own to a complete setup with custom-mixed paints, brushes, jars and an easel, you can choose how much you’d like me to provide.
It’s an easy, come-and-go activity that requires no painting experience. By the end of the event, all those individual brushstrokes come together to create a one-of-a-kind keepsake for the guest of honour.

Send me a photo, place or idea that’s meaningful to you. I’ll use it as inspiration to create a colourful, original design for your event.

02. I Create the Artwork
I turn your idea into an original painting design, simplifying it into playful shapes and sections that can be painted by your guests.
03. I Prepare Your Kit
I prepare and number your custom canvas, ready for your guests to paint. Depending on the package you choose, I can also create your custom colour palette and provide everything you need to set up at your event.
04. Your Guests Paint
Set up your painting at your event and let your guests add their brushstrokes throughout the celebration. It's easy, come-and-go, and requires no painting experience.
05. You Keep the Finished Piece
By the end of the event, everyone’s individual brushstrokes come together to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art — and a keepsake for the guest of honour to take home. If your painting needs a little finishing, optional artist finishing is available after your event.

Upgrade to a 30 × 36" canvas for +$100.
Optional Artist Finishing +$150
After your event, return your painting to me and I'll complete any unfinished areas and add the final artist touches while preserving your guests' brushstrokes.
Keepsake Prints +$25 each
Turn your finished painting into an 8 × 10" keepsake print to share with family, friends or guests who were part of the celebration.

FAQs
How far in advance should I inquire?
I recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks before your event to allow time to create and prepare your custom painting.
What kinds of events are guided paintings for?
Guided paintings can be created for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations.
Do my guests need painting experience?
Not at all. The painting is designed in simple, approachable sections so guests can add their brushstrokes throughout the event.
Can the painting be customized to my event?
Yes. Each piece begins with a photo, place, memory or idea that’s meaningful to you and is designed specifically for your celebration.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?

I’ll be in touch. Within 2–3 business days, I’ll reach out by email to confirm availability and chat about your ideas.

Secure your date. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

Approve your design. I’ll create a concept drawing and send it to you for approval. Up to two rounds of changes are included.

Final payment. The remaining 50% is due one week before your event.

Pick up your kit. Your complete Guided Painting kit will be ready for pickup at NSCAD University in downtown Halifax before your event. Pickup details will be arranged with you by email.
